 Phiki
=======

Phiki is a Gopher-based wiki. Where as Gopherpedia is a mirror of
Wikipedia in Gopherspace, Phiki is an experiment in creating a wiki
primarily for use over Gopher.

Due to the lack of forms for user submitted content, Phiki also uses
the FTP protocol. Users contribute to Phiki by uploading articles
via FTP. Articles may then be updated or deleted by users as well.

The anonymous nature of this process of course makes articles
vulnerable to vandalism. Phiki keeps a history of all articles,
which users can view and ideally use to correct any vandalism.


Articles
--------

Articles on Phiki are plain text documents, but may also be viewed
as a "gophermap", allowing for Gopher items to be linked in an
article.

These sample articles were written using the reStructuredText
standards. While this is not enforced by anything, a consistent
format for all articles is recommended.
